GILDED SUN

Gilded Sun is SCR’s super-group, consisting of Roberto Escamilla (rhythm guitar), Wes Crow (lead guitar), Alex Estrada (pedal steel), Daniel Myers (bass), West Taylor (drums), and Nate Little (keyboards). The band is known for sharing songwriting duties, trading lead vocals, and expertly melding twang-centric rock & roll with a dash of psychedelia, creating something that is wholly unique and thoroughly ‘Country & Midwestern.’ Having played together for multiple combined decades, these six musicians are as tight as they come and they are best experienced live. When not on Columbus stages, various combinations of Gilded Sun can be found in the studio backing up, producing, and engineering for many local musicians.

Their debut EP These Few Things was released digitally in 2024. Their first full-length record will be released in 2026.
