ROBERTO ESCAMILLA

With a booming baritone voice and a charismatic stage presence, Roberto Escamilla (he/him) conjures memories of the Outlaw Country artists of old…if they’d been born in El Salvador, raised in Ohio, wrote songs about the immigrant experience, and continued to work blue collar jobs to pay their bills. Backed by his band, the Honkytos, Roberto prides himself on creating an entertaining show that spans the history of Country music, from classics by Jimmy Rodgers, to his own original songs that he wrote yesterday.

When not playing solo, Roberto is a rhythm guitarist and songwriter in Gilded Sun. His debut single “When I die” was self-released on Spotify in 2023.
